  • What happened to Felistellar Studios?
Felistellar Studios has gone on hiatus for the foreseeable future. After over a year of consideration, Shaida has decided it is best to shut things down for a while before trying again with a new business model. Information about future plans will be made public soon.
  • Do you take commissions?
I no longer take mascot or fursuit commissions unless directly offered or stated. Quotes are also no longer available. Felistellar Studios will be in a hiatus for the foreseeable future, and MIGHT open commissions again once off hiatus.
  • Where do you purchase your supplies?
Please refer to my "Mascot Costumes" page, where a link is present on learning more about what goes into our costumes.
  • Do you rent out costumes?
At the moment, we do not. We are a costume building company. If you are in the area and want one of us to attend in our personal costumes, we can arrange that happily.
  • I have special sensory needs. Can you accomodate?
Absolutely! Be aware that the extra fabric needed will be added to your quote. We can work on what fabrics work best for you and other needs.
  • How strong are your costumes?
Our costumes are built to last. They are meant for performers. Bodysuit stitching is done with a tight zig zag stitch on a machine. Other hand-sewn seams are done with a tight blanket stitch. If you are worried about durability, please mention it during the quote session and we will address your concerns and offer accommodations if necessary.
  • What is the difference between a mascot and a fursuit?
A fursuit costume is a personal purchase of one's own character, whether it be a fursona, original character (oc), personal mascot, etc. These costumes are often more complex. A mascot costume is a business investment of a company asset. The mascot character is often designed by the company creating the costume or a collaboration between the client and business. These costumes are more durable and simpler in design. I only accept commissions for mascots, not fursuits. I can tell the difference between these two types of prospective clients, so please do not attempt to pass off your fursuit commission as a mascot. You will be blacklisted.
  • How do I order artwork or designs?
Please email or direct message me with your project idea and visual references. We will work out a price from there!
  • What art program do you use?
I primarily use Procreate on an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil!
  • I want an image involving copyrighted material. Can I ask you for that?
It depends. There are certain things I can or can't do pertaining to the law. For example, I could not draw a Marvel super hero in the exact style of Stan Lee. However, I can draw your own character in a similar outfit (ex. Jedi robes and light saber) because it can be deemed a "parody." Please research parody, fair use, and copyright before asking any artist about copyrighted material.
  • Can I commission you for an NFT to be made?
Absolutely NOT. I am against NFT's for personal and moral reasons. Please research the effects NFT's cause on the environment and economy. You are unlikely to find artists willing to comply as many did their research on this. If I find my artwork stolen as an NFT, I will file a DMCA report, and if necessary, take legal action. All my work is watermarked with extras hidden in the piece. You will not win against me.
  • Do you take graphic design commissions?
Yes! I do not have a set price for these, so I am willing to work with a budget. Please email me with any questions.
